VEDIC INVOCATIONS an album containing a selected collection of sacred prayers from the Vedas and Upanishads, sources of the most ancient wisdom of humanity which originated in India thousands of years ago.
To be able to transport this timeless sound in the contemporary times, the only way was to invite those who are connected and trained into this ancient system of chanting. To serve this divine purpose, I invited two highly trained Brahmin priests from a Gurukul, where precisely this kind of training is given for years before these young men become authorised to perform.

Veda itself means knowledge. This knowledge is not just information, but transformative knowledge, by inner work, deep meditation, prayer, conscious living.
The Vedas have more than 20000 mantras and each mantra when chanted produces sound vibrations that impact specific neurons of the body. The basic aim of chanting mantra’s is to induce certain sound frequencies that impact our neurons coherently and synergistically.
The key to the right sound rests in the pronunciation of vowels (svar) and consonants (varna). A faulty diction would do more harm than good and that is something we need to be mindful about. Though mantra’s work best when chanted, nonetheless listening is a better bet than getting it wrong.
