Tanmayo :
Classically trained in both violin and piano from the
age of 7, Tanmayo is widely experienced in both
orchestral and solo settings. She has since gone on to
explore a wide variety of musical styles, performing in
festivals, theatres, concert halls and on radio and
television in her native Scotland.
More recently she played with the group ‘Celtic Ragas’
at the wedding of Sir Paul MacCartney. In addition to
her instrumental portfolio, Tanmayo is also an
accomplished singer, appearing in settings as diverse as
a Glasgow jazz quartet, the Celtic fusion band, ‘In a
Split Second’ and a London Gospel Choir. Continuing this
musical exploration, she is now studying classical
Indian violin under the guidance of Ustad Faiyaz Hussain
Khan.
With violin, keyboards and voice, she now brings her own
unique flavor to the music of Manish Vyas. |
